HOPE 4 COMMUNITIES
Matthew 25: 23-40 calls us as Christians to act, to feed the hungry, cloth the poor, treat the sick, and visit the persecuted.
We want to share the hope of Christ in our communities and part of this is through practical tasks, such as food banks, challenging poverty, taking action on issues, and developing stronger communities.
COMMUNITY GROCERY & UNIFORM BANK
Join us every Thursday!

HOPE COMMUNITY GROCERY
When: Thursday 1.30pm-2.30pm
Where: Loftus Youth & Community Centre.

The Grocery is a low cost shop, where members are able to buy 8 items plus fresh produce each week for £2. The typical cost of these items would be £15-20. We are supported by FareShare North East in distributing produces that would usually go to landfill or waste, but is in perfectly good condition. The only condition of membership is to live in the East Cleveland area.

We can also refer members on to other support including emergency food parcels through our partnerships with Redcar Area Foodbank and Guisborough Bridge Association.

SCHOOL UNIFORM BANK
Where: Loftus Youth & Community Centre
We have a supply of school uniform items that are available all year around. These are for local primary and secondary schools and include PE kits, blazers, shoes, trainers and coats. These are free to access for all. We also accept donations of good quality items.

Communities are stronger when everyone works together, where support is mutual and promote inter-generational communities.

Our community feastivals are open to all. We have enjoyed trips out, BBQs and picnics. Watch out for the next one and com and join us.
BABY & TODDLER GROUPS
We value families and as such offer even the smallest members of our community an opportunity to grow. We run a weekly toddler group. This has a lovely outdoor space for children to enjoy, with crafts, ride on toys, role play and more. We join for a story and snack each week.
